Alright guys, this is one of my favorite hikes to do at night. It's 5 miles on the nose, and take me an hour and a half tops most of the time, but I'm sure it'll take us a little longer since we'll spend a little time eating down by the Ross Dock picnic area. I park across from the Kuba Restaurant, so that's why I used that address. There's meters but they don't check them after 6pm. So we'll start across the street from there by the steps., and start on the Long Path and go about .9 miles to the stairs that go down to the Ross Dock Picnic Area, where there's swings and even a small rock wall where we can chill for a bit and take in the views of the Hudson.
The Econo Lodge address is 2143 Hudson Terrace in Fort Lee. They used to let hikers park there, but it's looks they're closed now unfortunately. There should be a ton of street parking though. If you're not interested in the sushi part, meet us there at 7:30pm.
After that, we'll walk along the water for about a mile until we reach the Englewood Cliffs Boat Basin, then start on the steps back up, passing a waterfall on our left, where we'll take the Allison Park Trail(yellow) back to the cars, which is pretty much all flat. Like the Ringwood Hike, this is great for beginners. Bring a couple liters of water and a headlamp or flash light(although I do have one extra headlamp to spare). Hope to see you there!
