Do you currently use GPU supercomputing technologies?

NVIDIA hardware, using CUDA with THRUST and Boost libraries. I use local hardware and Amazon cloud services.

What do you use HPC/GPU supercomputing technologies for? Finance? Media? Scientific?

Statistics, Cryptography and big data.

How did you hear about this meetup group?

I noticing a link on the NVIDIA website to meetups in Paris and the USA. I registered my interest should one start in London. I received a notification email this group would be having its first meeting.

I have been involved in GPU computing as an amateur for the past 4 years. The fields I am particularly interested in are statistic methods, cryptology and big data. I am excited about the potential GPU computing offers particular scenarios.
