Hands-On Exercises are linked in the second presentation. Writing apps and looking at other people's code is a great way to learn.

I forgot to walk through code for Ionic 2. When you are ready to play with Ionic 2, here's how to get started:

    1) Upgrade to Ionic 2 beta:
    npm install -g ionic@beta

    2) Start helloWorld project using JavaScript:
    ionic start helloWorldJS --v2

    or start with TypeScript:
    ionic start helloWorldTS --v2 --ts
