What we're about
Land Rover Owners of all years, make's & models. Older is awesome. Brand new is Bad a** too. I am creating this club because as a former Jeep owner, and now owner of two Rovers, I believe the Jeep guys definitely beat the rover guys in brotherhood. I'd like to take away the stigma that Rovers are only driven by rich guys and hot soccer moms. (Although, I'm totally supportive of that i encourage you to come to our gatherings :) ) I envision our meet-ups as parking lot exhibitions; we park at a sponsor site, and allow the locals to look at our vehicles while we do the same. I will incorporate some education into this meet-up, having a mechanic come occasionally to offer some advice and give our rovers a once-over, if needed. We'll enjoy some coffee and maybe a cigar for those who enjoy, in the nice months. Finally, we'll organize ride-and-drives; Mini Land Rover Jamborees over some scenic terrain, ending at a destination to enjoy a view, some grub, or a beverage. Eventually, we'll do some Rover-Tourism, and head to some off-road parks for a weekend combined with a camp-site or hotel, good food, and good company.
