What we're about

Come hangout with cool people and hack on fun code projects in a collaborative, group learning environment.

Open to learners of all levels.

Hosted at the Figure Eight office in San Francisco, home to the essential training data platform for data science and product teams.

This group is for you if:
- You're passionate about scalable and innovative technologies such as Elixir, Go, and Rust
- You enjoy helping others and learning new technologies
- You want to learn how to write code and build web applications
- You know how to build web applications but you want to try a new approach
- You want to meet other like-minded developers

Checkout our project(s) here: https://github.com/rm-rf-etc/elixir_websocket

Our current group project is a decentralized, real-time, P2P data sharing system (written in Elixir, backed by the Golang graph database, Cayley), but you're also welcome to bring your own projects, either to get help from others, or to share and attract contributors, or just to show off cool things you've made.

NOTE: After you RSVP, please send me your email address so I can send you an invite through Envoy. Because our event is hosted at the Figure Eight office, it's legally required that participants sign-in and sign the NDA. Thank you for your understanding.

Hope to see you there!
