Google Glass workshop

After a short introduction about the first virtual festival "Zo niet, dan toch" and "Augmented Reality & Google Glass", you will learn how you can create your own augmented reality for mobile devices such as your smartphone or Google Glass. This evening you will experience wearing a Google Glass and get a feeling into creating your own augmented reality experience.

Zo niet, dan toch

‘Zo niet, dan toch’ is the first festival that takes place entirely in the virtual world. It makes Augmented Reality (AR) and location-based virtual projects visible. Existing art forms can be presented in a new way by the arrival of this virtual stage; where everything seems possible. ZNDT is one of the few lucky ones in the Google Glass Explorers program.

Speakers:

Klasien van de Zandschulp created, together with Sander Veenhof, the first virtual festival 'Zo niet, dan toch'. She is an interaction and user experience designer and designs the way people interact with, and use their digital environment by creating usable interfaces and interactions in (public) spaces. Her work is focussed on mobile technologies such as augmented reality and locative media. Klasien works at Lava design agency.

Luciano Pinna is conceptual artist and augmented reality guru. Graduated from the academy of art and the applied science faculty he walks on parallel paths. Combining his fascination for tech and art he creates mobile experiences with Augmented Reality and beyond. As conceptual artist he researches that which does not exist.

I loved this meetup. Great people, interesting topic and hands-on tinkering with AR, glass and oculus rift.
