I'm a hustler with an affinity for working hackers, and who places user experience above all in every product I work on. I currently manage product marketing and BD projects/strategy for a media property, but am working on the business plan and wireframes for a social commerce product that tackles many inefficiencies involving discovery and pricing.
Yes, I was a project manager at a successfully-acquired social start-up in San Francisco in[masked], where I worked on everything from monetization, product development, and community management. After that I worked as a consultant for social enterprises and non-profits, but the tech world called back. I currently run product development and marketing as well as BD strategy for the social department at a media start-up that was acquired by a big tech company earlier this year.
I bring an enthusiasm for the burgeoning tech environment in New York, paired with my genuine interest in solving everyday inconveniences and inefficiencies via worthwhile tech products. I'm experienced in not only ideating and executing on new products that truly add value to the lives of those who use them, but also in turning them into serious revenue drivers so that they can sustain profitable growth.
I'm looking to meet as many hackers and hustlers working in the online commerce space, particularly where it intersects with social discovery. I'm very interested in meeting engineers who are interested in that space as I'm looking for a technical cofounder for my business; that's likely the most important thing I'd love to get out of this meetup.
Hi, I'm Daniela and in the next few months I'm planning on quitting my job and working full-time on an idea I haven't been able to get out of my head for a long time. There's a lot of hard work and both humbling and exciting times ahead!
