Hackers and Hustlers - Meetup suspended

Dear Hackers and Hustlers,

It is with a heavy heart that I am right this to you now. When I started this meetup a year ago I was "scratching my own itch" being a non-tech founder looking for a hacker to join the team. I wanted to provide a platform for experienced coders to connected with visionary founders.

In one year I learned two things:

- The ratio of hackers to non-tech founders is roughly 1 : 50. More importantly, hackers tend to have their own projects to work on.

- I immensely enjoy the interaction with new people, however scheduling an event, finding a venue, booking speakers, promoting attendance has become a serious distraction from my own startup.

With this I came to a conclusion to suspend this meetup going forward. With this:

1. If someone from the group is interested in stepping in and caring on with this group, please contact me directly.

2. If you are new to the startup scene and are looking for best venues to connect with like-minded people may I suggest:

All the best,
