Come hear presentations from early stage startups, while drinking beer, eating pizza and meeting other interesting people!

The Mission of this group is to facilitate a connection between the two core personas needed to create a successful technology startup: the Hacker and the Hustler. We recognize this probably won't happen the first night, so we are here to encourage those early stage conversations in a friendly social environment.

6:30 - Food, drinks and socializing. Food and Drinks sponsored by local startup advisory firm Prepare 4 VC (www.prepare4VC.com)

7:00 - Presenter 1: PINGSTER - Pingster is a revolutionary photo-sharing app designed to connect people to the things around them. It’s purpose is to make people’s lives easier by presenting imagery as a means of physically connecting, places and activities shared by others. Pingster provides a fundamental need to go back to basics and focus on the better good of society.
(because there is less focus on followers, status and popularity, to interact with the app Pingster’s advertising model has the potential of dynamically changing the current mainstream sponsored ad delivery method.

7:20 - Presenter 2: Gamify.Science - This year 3% - 8% of children and young adults active in sports and recreation will suffer a concussion. There is a disconnect between doctors and patients between clinical visits, since concussion is something you can’t “see” it is difficult to accurately report change in recovery. Assessment tools have not improved in over four decades even though our knowledge of brain function has greatly increased... until now:

Gamify, Inc. has created the first concussion monitoring application for recording and reporting cognitive brain function in a motivating and accessible role-playing game for mobile devices. The games missions are designed to record cognitive skills and are sensitive to changes in key areas (reaction time, memory, spacial navigation, impulse control, etc). In the event of a concussion, these skills can be monitored and results can be reported to your doctor.

7:40 - Presenter 3 - SkipPit- SkipPit is an industry first, iOS and Android, fusion between
Tinder and Omegle. The incumbents in the dating sector fail to recognize that real intimate connections happen through physical, tangible channels. Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge all have their short falls and after thorough market analysis, SkipPit’s team has utilized a last to market approach to develop a speed dating platform that capitalizes on those incumbents shortfalls while utilizing generation Z trends such as video chatting.
SkipPit is a speeddating, video calling app. Many of my peers have used Tinder, Bumble, and even Hinge to meet girls in the Boston area but have found that the incumbent matching, and texting experience a waste of time and inefficient.

8:00 - Lightning Talks, Introductions and Networking.

8:30 - Cleanup!
