Hacking Health Saskatoon is bringing together health and technology. We'll be hosting a hackathon on Oct 2-4, in the Atrium of Innovation Place. We are designed to improve healthcare by inviting technology creators and healthcare professionals to collaborate on realistic, human-centric solutions to front-line health problems. Our hackathons are fun, intense, hands-on events where small teams tackle tough problems in a supportive community of peers and mentors. This is the second annual Hacking Health Saskatoon event, after great success last year. The event begins on Friday night with short one-minute pitches. Teams form organically - join whatever you are interested in or useful for! Saturday is dedicated to hacking together your ideas. Sunday morning gives you a final sprint before short 2-3 minute demos of what your team came up with! We will be hoping to see both new faces and old, working on interesting projects and teams. If you are a programmer, engineer, health worker, designer, or simply all around tinkerer, we want you! We're also looking for mentors who would volunteer their time to advise groups when they hit stumbling blocks of programming, development, or healthcare knowledge. Please visit saskatoon.hackinghealth.io for details, and remember to put up your project ideas on sparkboard at http://hhsaskatoon2015.sparkboard.com! We can be reached through email@example.com.
