Come join us at the Comcast Center for three "flash talk" presentations about the intersections of WordPress and media/publishing.

7:00 pm – Project Open Voice: A Community Content Creation and Curation Platform Built on WordPress Multisite
Jonathan Finnegan, Senior Developer for Local Media Development

7:30 pm – Building alpha.phila.gov in the open and with WordPress
Karissa Demi, City of Philadelphia, Office of Innovation and Technology

8:00 pm – How we built our publishing tech stack like a tech company
Brian James Kirk & Cary Betagole, Technically Media

8:30 pm – Scaling WordPress: Code Review on WordPress.com (http://wordpress.com/) VIP
Philip John, WordPress.com (http://wordpress.com/) VIP

If you plan on attending, please be sure to RSVP as space is limited.

Afterwards, we'll head out for drinks and networking at Tir Na Nog, located very close to the Comcast Center.

This meetup is designed to appeal to developers, product managers, and editorial types who use WordPress. Non-techies welcome, journalists encouraged to attend!
