Write well and learn
We are a sharing and critique group for writers in all genres, and types (poetry and short stories, novels, memoirs, essays et al). All sessions are free. We focus on improving our writing with concrete suggestions, not just praise or disdain. We have authors writing their 24th book and newbies writing for the first time. This will be helpful to new writers getting started. These are No mess, No stress classes; we're youth and adults and seniors so come and go as you please. Your RSVP here does help us plan copies needed for Craft Chat handouts. Please peruse these other pages to see how we operate and conduct classes. We meet in the Teen Room in the rear corner of the Library's Main Floor.

What we're about

All genres and poetry welcome. The group meets every Monday (except holidays), at Hamilton Twp. Free Public Library from 1:00 to 4 or 4:30, in the Teen Room on the Main level. No RSVP necessary, but helpful. Classes are always free and open. The objectives are: sharing your work and receiving feedback, and learning how to write better. It's a supportive and challenging atmosphere, friendly, and No Mess, No Stress! All ages welcome! And come and go as you please.

Please bring a 1200-1500 word piece (or less) to share, and one copy for the facilitator, Rodney.

If you want more written feedback, bring 3-6 copies.
