Join us for the 12 mile dirt loop around Lake Natoma. This ride is intended for people who can sustain 10 MPH or more on dirt. We tend to go kinda' fast. It should take no more than 2 hours. If you cannot maintain this pace, you are not being fair to the rest of the riders. After the ride we usually end up at a local downtown Folsom watering hole for some thirst quenchers.
We leave the Lightrail Station promptly at 1:10, so if you're late, you're going to miss us! If you're just a little late, we usually regroup at the Aquatic Center at 1:35.
As always, helmets are required and YIELD TO PEDESTRIANS AND HORSES. THAT MEANS SLOW DOWN OR STOP BEFORE PASSING.
This event starts at the light rail station in the hope that you'll save gas, money and the environment by taking the train. The train costs $2.50 (cheaper than you can drive) and schedules can be seen here... http://sacrt.com/schedules/current/routes/R507.htm Just make sure your train says "Folsom" on it.
An RSVP is a Social Commitment. Your Hosts and Organizers go to great lengths and often personal expense to make these events fun and enjoyable for you. If you are unable to show up, please update your RSVP a minimum of 2 hours before the start time of the event.
