Taught by Dr. Michal Fabinger from Tokyo University. This class covers basics of deep learning in much greater depth than any of the online classes. This class is run online after work hours Sun-Thu starting at 6pm PST for 2h with a lecture/demo over Zoom Video Conference. The lectures are performed live from Tokyo Japan.
This class is the same as taught in Tokyo University and is the same material as covered in a class spanning 1 year. Most of the online classes fail to cover basics from Statistics/Probability/Differential Geometry.
This class consists of 2 parts, the first part covering basics and review evolving to a second part which involves working on projects and implementing papers.
Read section 4.3 and 8.3.1 of the Deep Learning book (https://www.deeplearningbook.org/ , freely available).
Read Chapter 6 from DL book after 4/28.
