Informed Dying is the Only Way to Live

This is a departure from our traditional Meetup topic where we talk about a specific business topic. This talk is about life. It's about living for today. It's about learning the lessons that death teaches us to allow us to embrace life right here, right now. You owe it to yourself and those that you touch to come to this event and take away an important lesson about living.

Hope to see you there. Mitchell Levy,[masked]

Subject: Informed Dying is the Only Way to Live

Your life is finite. Your Death is inevitable. So what really matters? Following six years of service as a hospice volunteer at San Francisco’s Laguna Honda Hospital, Tim Tosta has witnessed the end of many lives and learned from those experiences that death is a great teacher. Tim will share some of these lessons and how they can enrich your life -- starting right now!

Don’t miss this opportunity to reframe your perspective on death, bringing it "out of the closet" for your life's betterment. Yes, despite your first impression, this is an uplifting, life affirming, celebratory event.

You will learn that:

  • Embracing death as a teacher gives depth and meaning to the life experience.
  • Survival is not about living forever; it’s about living consciously, meaningfully and lovingly.
  • A life lived in spaciousness, awareness and curiosity will flourish.
  • Transforming the energy of fear into discovery admits us to a boundless, lush and wondrous universe.
  • Life acquires its meaning only in relationship with others. Relationships are founded on the rocks of empathy, compassion and generosity.

If you are interested in living life better, starting today, you'll want to pick up Tim's book and come to this event to hear him talk and get a copy of his book for free.

Last nights event on Informed Dying was the very BEST Event because it was intimate and a lot of people sharing, nice introductions from each attendee and the opportunity to share more personally with the guest speaker Tim Tosta. The topic on Informed Dying is truly about accepting your Life and Celebrating the 24 hours in our day and appreciating each other for our unique selves, what we contribute to others lives, how we give back, being courageous, LOVING, COMPASSIONATE, just accepting and living well and doing as much as we can for others in their life's transitions. I felt tonight's event was the VERY TOP BEST EVENT because an expert on Hospice care and community living, with a background as a lawyer, life coach taught us about awareness and acceptance and HOW TO REALLY LIVE!! Thank you so much!
