Whoopteedoo! We are back! And so is Gregor Wilson. We have hosted him before, and this November we are hosting him again.

Join us if you to learn more about managing, developing or designing websites! Join us on Tuesday November 14 at the Hive in Wan Chai for a great talk and meeting other web enthusiasts.

Did you know Pixelcabin will be sponsoring drinks and food? 🍻🍵🍕
If you're looking for a professional e-commerce Shopify partner or you're a developer and looking for a great job, make sure to check them out at https://pixelcabin.io/. Or come to the meetup and have a chat with them.

Designing and building for business to business

Designing sites for B2B (business to business) e-commerce instead of the more common B2C context has both challenges and some interesting points of differentiation. At pixelcabin (https://pixelcabin.io/), we have recently been building a dedicated B2B food & beverage platform for a Fortune 500, but with an added twist - the underlying back-end is Shopify! This talk will be taking a deep dive into how we achieved making Shopify a viable solution technically from a front-end perspective, whilst the second half of the talk will look at both the UX and technical challenges we encountered with the B2B food and beverage context specifically.

Bio 🎙

Gregor is one of the founding partners of pixelcabin, a software development agency that has a fully-distributed team and specialises in engineering solutions for e-commerce. Given the location-agnostic approach of pixelcabin, he splits his time between Hong Kong and Oslo, usually whichever has the better temperature! He co-founded pixelcabin 5 years ago after selling his first company, realising that one of the only parts he had enjoyed was building its e-commerce website.

👋 Hope to meet you on November 14 at the Hive in Wan Chai!
