Hardware Startup Meetup SF @ Jellyfish Art

Hey Hardwarians,

It's time again for another Hardware Startup Meetup! Fitbit is our sponsor this time, so we'll have some great food and drinks along with members of their team to share their experiences of being a hardware startup.

Here's all the details below. Let me know if you'd like to present a project / startup! If you want to pitch, please put your name on the July 12th tab on this Google spreadsheet to secure your spot (also add your name to the "Startups" tab too).

- Nick

To the find the place - here's the StreetView of[masked]rd St.: We'll be right inside, so it's a no brainer. Public transit is easy to get there, and there's pretty ample parking around the place as well. Those of you coming up on CalTrain can just hop on the K/T Trolley from 4th and King and ride it down to 3rd and 23rd in a couple minutes.

  • 6pm - Talking and Drinks
  • 6:30pm - Start the 2 minute pitches (hard stop, so get your timing down!)
  • 7:00pm-ish - Pitches end, and we get to talk with everyone.
  • 9pm - The official event ends, and we go to our respective bars of choice.

If you want to pitch, please put your name on the July 12th tab on this Google spreadsheet to secure your spot (also add your name to the "Startups" tab too) - first 15 are secured. We'll have a PA system, but no projector, so just bring a good pitch and a prototype / product if you've got one. Again, for the sake of time we'll have 2 minute pitches and no questions during - we encourage you to talk with the speakers afterward!

Let me know if you have any questions guys!

People were awesome and pleasant to talk to and learn from. The refreshments were nice. The pitches were mostly very good.
