SF Hardware Startup Meetup Message Board › May 30th Meetup Sold-out! SIGN-UP TO DEMO!!! Other cool stuff too!
San Francisco, CA
Whoa - so we sold out all 140 spots in 35 minutes - hardware is now scaling to Madonna-esque proportions!
Even though we sold out... You are still in luck, there are ways you can still have a hearty hardware time!
+ May 30th Meetup - WE WANT YOU TO DEMO! If you demo, you get a spot in the meetup!
Remember: You get 2 minutes, no slides/projector, whatever prototype you've got, and a microphone.
You need to sign-up to get in, so go THIS SPREADSHEET, and put your name on the May 30th tab.
+ International Hardware Startup Meetup (June 3rd) - It's happening at the Santa Clara Convention center, and you can also get into the crazy hardware expo they're putting on for $10 by entering HW13EXPO when you sign-up here: Augmented World Expo website - or just come out for the meetup (it's free).
If you're interested in exhibiting in the Expo, you should contact Tish Shute (Tish@augmentedreality.org) or Ori Inbar (Ori@augmentedreality.org) to get your booth space.
+ Mix and Stir Studio - Our hosts for this meetup, the California College of the Arts, are letting us check out their new hardware-focused "Hybrid Lab" and also going to be telling us about their new design-driven tech accelerator: Mix and Stir Studio - exciting stuff!
+ SF Autodesk Inventor User Group - Thinking of staying-in to learn you some Inventor? Fret not! There's a way to do this together at the Inventor User Group!
+ Bay Area Factory Tours - They just sold-out their first tour, but Jeff says that he's got a ton of them lined up now. He could probably also use some volunteers to help him out: email him HERE.
