Many photographers have approached me about personal sessions and workshops. Meetup allows me to let you know about all the events I am giving, including workshops and free presentations. This group is about learning photography with master photographer Harold Davis. This group takes you to interesting places to photograph with Harold's unique perspective and guidance. About Harold: He is the author of more than ten best-selling photography books including "The Photoshop Darkroom" series from Focal Press and "Creative Black & White" and all the other books in the Creative series from Wiley Publishing. Harold is one of the most widely acclaimed digital photographers working today. This meetup is for you if you would like to take your photography to the next level, or if you want to know more about Harold's creative approach.

Details: This detailed presentation shows you how LAB color works, and explains its implementation in Photoshop. You’ll learn about LAB channels, colors, and inversions. Harold will illustrate the webinar with step-by-step examples from his work, and show you how you can download and install his Photoshop LAB action software. Also, Harold will explain how to use LAB for creative sharpening effects by using only the grayscale information in an image, thus avoiding unsightly and over-sharpened color. Harold says, "All-in-all, you get more 'bang for the buck' with creative LAB than any other aspect of Photoshop, but at the same time LAB is surprisingly underused and underrated. I always enjoy teaching this subject, and tell my students as the class begins to hang on, it is going to be an exciting ride!" There will be time for Q&A.
