FREE NIGHT-SHOOT-AND-TALK WITH HAROLD DAVIS
Come join Harold and photograph the ruins of the Sutro Baths at night!
Photographic subjects include ruined structures, a tunnel under the rocks, the lights of Cliff House, reflections in the pools, waves, Bird Rock, the Pacific Ocean, and depending on the weather either fog, or setting crescent moon and stars. We may also experiment with light painting!
This free night-shoot-and-talk begins just before sunset (sunset is at 8:35PM) and continues into darkness.
Bring your camera, tripod, and remote release and prepare to shoot one of the best night photography locations in San Francisco and talk photography.
Note: There will be no formal instruction. This is not a workshop. Harold is happy to share his experience photographer-to-photographer. Come expecting a great time, but do not expect a workshop.
Rain cancels. Please dress warmly in layers
(it can get very cold and damp), wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots, and bring a headlamp for safety in the baths and tunnel, and so that you can safely return to your car after dark, water, and a snack or a powerbar.
