HBG Senators Fan Club, Diamond Talk Meetup
This is our public meeting with entertainment... we call it: Diamond Talk. Our guest speaker will be Fan Club and SABR member, Ted Knorr. He will tell us some unique stories about Game 7 of the 1960 World Series. Enjoy an evening surrounded by baseball fans like yourself. We typically have 30 people attend (many are not from the Meetup site). We always have fun entertainment, such as a: guest speaker, baseball trivia game, raffles, etc. We announce each meeting's entertainment through our free email newsletter. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss any details: http://eepurl.com/coTgF1 Come a bit early to order dinner from the menu or enjoy your meal during the event. We promote a family friendly, relaxed and fun atmosphere (although you must be 21+ to purchase alcohol). The Fan Club conducts a brief amount of formal business. We'll also announce future activities/trips and news about our favorite MiLB and MLB teams. Bottom line... we have FUN! Consider this your invitation to join us! Purchase of dinner and 50/50 tickets are optional. Cash Bar. The venue is cash-only. An ATM on site. Also, it's an American Legion, so, prices for optional food and drinks (even bar drinks) are super low!

We always have fun entertainment at our Meetups, such as a guest speaker and an optional 50/50 raffle. We sometimes have free raffles too!

Our group has been around since 1987 (before the Meetup website was a thing). We typically have between 25 and 40 people at our meetups (most attendees do not have an account on Meetup.com... I know right?!) Anyway, don't be shy attending these Meetups. We always have a packed house regardless of the number of Meetup RSVPs.

Also, add yourself to our free email newsletter to stay up-to-date with all the latest happenings: http://eepurl.com/coTgF1 We do a lot of communication through email so do please take advantage of this free service.
