If a week-long Vermont fall foliage photography workshop is too long or you are traveling around New England and want to photograph some of Vermont’s great locations, then this shorter Columbus Day weekend workshop is for you.
Based from his home in Woodstock, VT, Loren will take you on an exciting Vermont photo experience in one of the most breathtaking fall foliage destinations anywhere. Local transportation is provided in Loren’s 12 passenger van, so all you have to do is be ready to see stunning sights and make wonderful images. Loren has been scouring Vermont’s backroads for years and will take you to hidden gems as well as famous locations
We will meet at Loren’s Woodstock, VT, home and then right out and do light painting on a local covered bridge. Loren will show you how to light large objects, like the covered bridge, with a flashlight while shooting a long exposure. He will tell you what camera settings to use and how to take advantage of the last light of the day. We’ll then walk over and photograph a beautiful library while lighting it.
You will receive personal attention from a seasoned profession who knows how to help you take your photography to a higher level, whether you are a beginner or experienced photographer.
You will have the opportunity to visit and photograph beautiful farms, a classic Vermont village and a private 600 acre homestead with ponds, flora. We will photograph covered bridges, breathtaking scenery, lakes, maybe a large waterfall and enjoy true small-town hospitality.
Loren will share with you his thought process, how he plans a shot and how he edits. The schedule will be flexible so we will shoot in the best locations at the right times.
