What we're about

This group is for anyone who is looking get together with fellow improvisers to practice improv in a safe and respectful forum. Our only goal is to practice the craft of improv regardless of your level, however this is not for individuals looking for someone to coach or instruct them on being an improviser. If you are looking to learn more about improv, I would highly suggest taking a beginners class at a place like SeaTea Improv in Hartford or any of the Improv Houses (UCB, Magnum or The PIT) in NYC. Once you start a level one class this meetup will be the perfect complement to helping grow through practice. We will start each event promptly with warm excercises to to know each other and raise our energy before jumping into long form scene work. We will meet weekly to practice. Anyone interested in starting a team to do jams or competitions can raise this discussion at the meet up. Look for postings of the dates and times.
