Screening of the film "SEED: The Untold Story"

Hi Friends,

We've just requested to bring a screening of the film SEED: The Untold Story to Knoxville. Screenings of this movie are happening around the country--aiming to raise awareness about the dramatic loss of seed diversity and the movement to restore the future of our food. SEED brings into clear focus the beauty, hope, and magic that seeds represent for humanity at this critical juncture.

The film features the notables: Vandana Shiva, Dr. Jane Goodall, Andrew Kimmel, and Winona LaDuke.

This documentary film has won five significant awards. Find more information about the film toward the bottom of this email.

The film's trailer can be viewed here:

For eons, cultures around the world have believed seeds to be our birthright: a covenant with the earth shared by all and passed down across generations. But today, our seeds are increasingly private property held in corporate hands.

We are proud to be hosting this screening, and REALLY want people to see this film, which is why we are reaching out to you for support. The screening will only take place if we get 60 people to reserve tickets by the tipping date, which is: NOV. 21 about 1:00 PM.

(You will only be charged for the ticket if we're successful in getting the minimum (or more) reservations by that date.)

Please help me take a stand and spread the word about this event. I am delighted to share this important documentary with you and our local community.

The screening date and location: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6 at 7:30 pm at WEST TOWN MALL, STADIUM 9. If you plan on attending, please reserve your ticket here: https://gathr.us/screening/reserve/18594 (the direct link) or to http://gathr.us and click on the SEED film mini-poster.
Film cost is $12.70 including a service fee. Tickets may NOT be purchased at the door. Remember the tipping date, which is: NOV. 21 about 1:00 PM.

Please share this email and information with your friends, colleagues, neighbors, and family.

See you there!
