What we're about

The First Spiritual Temple is an Interfaith Spiritualist Church Community, founded on June 28, 1883, by Marcellus Seth Ayer. The Church is an outgrowth of the early Modern Spiritualist Movement. We offer Sunday worship; Afternoons of Spirit Communication; Classes/Lectures/Seminars on Spiritualism, Mediumship, Healing, the Journey of the Soul; Esoteric/Metaphysical subjects; Theosophy; and Interfaith Spirituality. Everyone is welcome to join our community in worship, education, and fellowship. We have an extensive library and publication ministry.

The purpose of this Meetup Group is to offer an opportunity for open and honest discussion, as well as a venue for teaching and developing the various gifts of the Spirit, including: Mediumship; Healing; and Psychic Awareness. Other areas of interest include: Spirituality; Spiritualism; Theosophy; the Alice Bailey material; Esoteric and Metaphysical subjects; the Aura; Psychometry; Evidential and Physical Mediumship; the Journey of the Soul; Reincarnation and Karma; and Interfaith Spirituality.

The First Spiritual Temple is world-renowned for its quality and integrity of teaching in all the above areas. We have been working with these subjects for nearly 137 years; that's a long time. "Mediumship With Integrity" is the motto of our School for Mediumship.

Anyone interested in these important matters is welcome to join our group and attend either Sunday morning worship, a class/seminar/lecture, or an Afternoon of Spirit Communication at the Temple in Harwich.
