BYOCP Nr. 1 - Bring Your Own Coding Problem
• What we'll do Starting off this year, we'll try a new format: bring your own coding problem! Everybody is invited to bring their favorite coding problem(s) that can be solved in less than 45 minutes. The idea for the meetup schedule is as follows: 15' - present problems and prioritize them. 45' - solve the first problem(s) in groups consisting of both beginners and more experienced HaskellerZ to enjoy joint learning. 30' - present solutions. Afterwards, people are welcome to enjoy some pizza and drinks and further discussions at Jimmy's Pizzeria (https://www.jimmys-pizzeria.ch/). • What to bring Please bring your own laptop and internet. We recommend to setup a working Haskell installation (e.g., using https://www.haskellstack.org/) prior to the event. A Github account to simplify code sharing might also prove handy. • Important to know All levels of experience are welcome. To simplify the selection of problems, I've created this Google Doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1djuJkGlyXJefbMqiYjQF-5x910AZ8fpdH9mybGF6nw4/edit#) to collect the problems in written form. Please take a few minutes to add one or two fun problems!

    What we're about

    Public Group

We are meeting once a month to share knowledge of and experience with Haskell.

Each time, one of us presents a topic, be it a library, a programming technique, development tools, or internals of GHC or other implementations. The format varies depending on the topic and the presenter between hands-on workshops, discussions and lectures.

Prior knowledge certainly helps, but we definitely don't require you to be an expert to join and/or to present a topic. The only thing that is important is that you are interested in Haskell and that you are eager to learn more.
