Fun and friendly Hatha Flow classes.

This class will challenge you at your appropriate level – detailed instructions insure good alignment and modifications are offered to provide a safe and enjoyable practice for all. Classes incorporate meditation to still the mind, breathing techniques to purify the nervous system, yoga poses to strengthen and balance the body, and relaxation to allow for deep rest.

I started practicing yoga as a way to improve my health thirteen years ago, but it quickly developed into a deeper, life-changing practice, which I love to share with others.

I teach yoga in order to help others experience the freedom, self-knowledge and sense of peace that come from a regular yoga practice. I see yoga as a path for self-development and health, which is grounded in respect for one’s body and a gentle process towards improving fitness and encouraging a positive outlook on life.

I endeavor to teach from the heart, with respect and care for every student. My classes are designed to be uplifting, fun, and safe for all levels of students. My teaching is influenced by Anusara yoga, which is a life-affirming and heart-centered school of Yoga. My classes incorporate meditation to still the mind, breathing techniques to purify the nervous system, yoga poses to strengthen and balance the body, and relaxation to help let go of stress. I pay great attention to alignment in order to help students develop strength and flexibility in a safe manner.

My overall aim as a yoga teacher is to help my students increase their physical, emotional and mental well-being through a balanced and nurturing yoga practice.
