View of Diamond Head
Description: This is a hike with everything! Views, a good workout, decent parking and close to town. The rewards include fabulous views of both the leeward and windward coasts. Afterwords, we will head into town for some cheap eats.
Distance/Elevation: We're looking at a 4.5 mile out-and-back with 1700' of ascent. Intermediate ++ due to elevation change. It's a good workout.

Directions: From Honolulu, head east on the H1. Continue onto HI-72 for about 3.9 miles. Turn left onto Kuliouou Road, for 0.4 miles. Turn right to stay on Kuliouou Road for 0.6 mi. Turn right onto Kalaau Place. Look for parking, meet at the end of the cul-de-sac.
