The Hahaione Trail ascends to the Ko'olau Summit Ridge Trail (KSRT) between the Kuli'ou'ou Ridge Trail and the closed Mariner's Ridge Trail.
Don't let the short distance of this hike fool you; it's steep rise and tricky Ko'olau Summit Ridge Trail (KSRT) crossing will not leave you wanting a longer hike.

Important instructions to meeting place:
Park on Hahaione St, taking care not to park within 4 feet of any driveway. Please avoid arriving with radio blaring and slamming car doors, and any conversation until you go 25 feet up the trail at the end of the street. We will meet up the trail and not on the street. For that reason it will be a good idea to apply bug repellant.
