Startup Saturday Bangalore

You might have heard of statements like “Data is the new oil” or that in very near future we will have a designation that reads “Chief Analytics Officer” or if you are really into data then the fact that “Data generated in the past 2 years exceeds the entire data during the existence of mankind. With so much being said at every corner of the world about Big Data and how this data is presenting new obstacles for organisations and opportunities for Start-ups, it sometimes seems Big Data is more hype than reality.

We at Startup Saturday Bangalore bring you an edition well and truly focussed on giving you an insight into the world of Big Data and what the future holds in terms of building billion dollar enterprise in this exploding field. We are doing this edition to uncover all the intricacies of Big Data and not mere hype.

From Dhiraj Rajaram(CEO,Mu-Sigma) that some months back became one of the first Analytics organisation in the world to be a billion dollar enterprise throwing light on “What it takes to build an Analytics business out of India” also covering Mu-Sigma’s personal journey to become the market leader to Prashant(CEO,Promptcloud) and S.Anand(Chief Data Scientist,Gramener) digging deep into collating data from across internet and Visualizing Big Data respectively. We would be doing this with a special focus on what products can be built in near future to harness such possibilities and opportunity.

As always we are having an amazing set of demos/pitches lined up from entrepreneurs who are eagerly looking forward to some insightful feedback/suggestions/critic from you. Come over and help them get better with their product/start-up with your invaluable suggestions. :( Due to official works, I'm not able to attend. But I'm really interested to hear the talk. Is there any way that video coverage of the meetup is available after some days ?? At-least, anybody who attend can create an abstract / minutes of meetup which contains a brief on the talks. It will be really helpful for people like me, who all are interested and unfortunately couldn't attend.

Hi, I don't know whether I am qualified to attend such meetings. Is there a measure or I don't know how people are judged there. Do you have to be technologically inclined or you just have to be good at your niche? Do you need to understand all the techno jargon words.
To be precise I need some confidence, and in the midst if I get to look like a dunce then I don't think it will do any good to me. Please do reply back if there is any good news. All the best for the event.
