We hold donation based yoga, meditation and nutrition classes at our Mid-City Studio. Join our community, around since 2009 and committed to equal access to self-care and non-invasive healthcare. We believe the power of media is transformative and awareness raising. We hold the Awareness Film Festival to bring amazing films to Los Angeles that showcase important causes that effect everyone. We hold monthly screening series as well as a yearly large event in downtown. The Awareness Film Festival. Donation-Based Alignment Flow Yoga (ONLINE)

Alignment Yoga Flow will focus around properly aligning your body in yoga postures. We will slowly break down the sequence in the beginning of the class, then flow through the sequence faster and with modifications or variations. We might even prepare for a prep-to-peak or peak pose!

Teacher bio:

Patty received her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification from Aligned Yoga School by Briohny Smyth. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Her teaching is alignment focused integrated with vinyasa flow, connecting breath with movement. She will help you learn about basic yoga anatomy, terminology, and help you achieve body awareness to practice yoga with intention. Her goal is to help practitioners grow safely, consistently, and consciously in their yoga practice.

Donation-Based All Levels Vinyasa (ONLINE)

An all inclusive Vinyasa class that allows you to slow down your mind and reconnect with your inner self. The class will begin with gentle stretches and move through a more rhythmic flow before winding down to relaxation. The class aims to build both strength and flexibility while bringing you back to the present so you can rediscover your internal peace, strength and vitality.

Teacher bio:
Eugenia discovered yoga during college as a way to balance her fast paced and demanding lifestyle. Her practice provides her with a place of solace, throughout years of work in the highly intense environments of management consulting and technology. As a lifelong learner, this ultimately led her to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Yogaworks in 2020. Her aspiration as a yoga teacher is to create an inclusive and welcoming class for people of all backgrounds to find a sense of inner peace, joy and inspiration through the practice.

Donation-Based Love & Kindness Meditation (ONLINE)

Loving Kindness is a Buddhist Meditation. A daily practice of loving
kindness meditation cultivates kindness towards yourself and all
beings including the difficult people in your life.
What is the process of LKM?
When you practice LKM you are chanting some phrases like May you
be happy, May you be well to yourself and all other being in the
world.
It cultivates positive attitude towards yourself and rest of the world.
Duration of the Meditation is 20 minutes.

Some of the science backed reasons to practice LKM.
1. Increases positive emotions and reduces negative emotions.
2. Some healing happens like it decreases pains e.g. Migraine.
3. Increases social connections.

Teacher bio:
Maja is a certified meditation and mindfulness Teacher from School of Positive Transformation. I am a certified success coach currently working towards my ACC credential from ICF. My Other Certifications:
Certified NLP (neuro linguistic programing) Practioner.
Certified Reiki Master Teacher.
Qi Gong Practioner Second Level.
My Academic qualifications
B.Sc., B.Ed. (Bachelor Degree in Science(Botany) and Education) from Kerala University, India.

The main goal of Hatha Yoga is to unite Body, Mind, and Breath, in other words, to unite the Physical and Subtle bodies through Breathing. Yoga has many benefits for our body, mind, and spirit, but the most important part of every yoga practice is proper, yogic breathing, which helps cleanse and detoxify our bodies. During Hatha yoga classes with Anastasia, you will always be reminded to connect breathing
with asanas, which will ensure the best rejuvenation of the body. The meditation at the beginning of the class will help you to better connect to your body, return to your inner center, and stay present while
doing yoga. Welcome!

Teacher bio:
Hello! I am Anastasia and I am a Hatha yoga teacher.
I am from Russia, where I took my first yoga class at 16 years old and fell in love with the practice. I live and work in Los Angeles. Yoga and meditation help me stay healthy and happy. My goal is to share the knowledge I have and the practices I do every day with as many people as possible, so that you can stay connected with yourself and feel inner happiness.
