With overwhelming interest in hearing from more Atlanta-area venture/growth HCIT companies, please join us on May 20th at 6:00PM for networking and to hear another batch of Atlanta's healthcare technology companies:
OneCare's CEO Gary Austin | www.onecare.me (http://www.onecare.me/)
Leveraging a large ecosystem of connected mHealth devices, a private social network, big data analytics, proven behavioral science expertise, and over twelve years of founder Health IT experience, OneCare has developed the next generation connected health platform that encourages and tracks patient compliance with doctors’ care plans and enables the full potential of cost savings through increased patient engagement.
Hygeia's CEO Ricardo J. Ibarria | http://www.hygeia.us/
Focused on making a clinical kiosk for outpatient use by nurses. The product uses a mix non-invasive off the shelf FDA approved medical devices and proprietary devices to make a whole new healthcare experience for patients that saves clinicians time and money.
SafeHeart iOximeter's Co-Founder Yale Zhang | http://www.safeheartus.com (http://www.safeheartus.com/)
A Pulse Oximeter is a device that measures the pulse rate (heart rate) and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) of a person. This measurement is achieved by a probe that shines a light of two different frequencies through the finger and a sensor that measures the light absorption. Traditionally, this data is sent to a tabletop or handheld unit which then calculates and displays the data. The iOximeter consists of a sensor that runs through a smartphone’s audio jack and a software app that performs the calculation. The software also records the data so the user may chart over a period of time, and in the future, can send it to his or her doctor or insurance company as a part of an overall wellness platform. The product is currently available through Amazon.com and soon Drugstore.com.
Sensiotec's President Fredrik Westin | http://sensiotec.com/
Sensiotec has developed Virtual Medical Assistant® (VMA), the world’s first truly remote, totally noncontact, cardiorespiratory patient monitoring platform. Recalling the StarTrek Tricorder, VMA provides critical spot and trend data continuously to a nurse’s station, tablet, smartphone or pager without electrodes touching the patient or pads requiring contact with a mattress or other surface.
Doors Open at 6:00PM, panel discussion begins at 6:30PM. Share the love on Twitter and LinkedIn with #Health2.0ATL
