What we're about

Healthy Living Doesn't Suck! We aren't a bunch of stick-in-the-muds or hippy granolas. (If you are those things, we welcome you too.) Healthy living is awesome, especially when we can connect and create a community of folks with similar goals. This group is focused on maintaining a whole food, plant based (WFPB) diet, based on the work of such researchers and physicians as Drs. T. Colin Campbell, Caldwell Esselstyn, Joel Furhman, and Dean Ornish. We’ll also explore other wellness topics such as meditation and thoughtfulness. The group will serve as a place to:
-become a part of a WFPB community
-support each other in changing to and maintaining a WFPB lifestyle
-explore the practical, day-to-day "how-to"s of WFPB
-discuss whole-person wellness, including the benefits of meditation and thoughtfulness
-a place to have fun and still maintain your WFPB lifestyle

Please join us to interact, find connections, and become a part of a community of folks with similar goals. Each meet-up will have a different focus, presentation, or format, such as:
-WFPB potlucks
-Presentations from WFPB resources and experts
-Book discussions
-Movie viewing
