What we're about

This group was formed to help inspire others to live active, healthier lives. The group hosts a diverse range of activities and is designed for singles, married couples and families of all ages. Whether your goal is to get active, lose weight, learn about healthy living, clear your mind, have fun or just meet some great new people, this group is for you.

We know DFW is HUGE and hard to get around. So, this meetup is especially for Fort Worth and surrounding areas. We have and are launching other cities around the metroplex, so if you are interested in other areas just let me know. We plan a minimum of one adventure per month and more will be added as members request them. We hope you will find a few you already enjoy and/or be willing to stretch your comfort zone. If not, please feel free to make some suggestions.

Tubing on the Brazos River!!!

10801 I-20

Tubing - $19 per person, includes tube you ride on and free day pass. A tube is included for your ice chest for every 4 people otherwise they are $10. This includes parking, shuttle, and the rope to tie together. 10am-3pm. Bring your masks for the bus ride up to the launching point. You can bring your own tube and save $4.00. Bring your own ice chest, drinks (NO GLASS) and food, sunscreen and water shoes. Alcohol is allowed as are dogs (dogs must have a life vest). The location is Hillbilly Haven and their website is www.hillbillyhaven.net It is located about 45 minutes west of Fort Worth on I-20 in Millsap TX. This is also a campground and it gets really busy on the weekend. We recommend carpooling and if interested, message or call me at[masked]. Parking is included - drive into and through the campground and park under the bridge. Meet back at the front gate to pay for your tubing and to catch the bus. They open at 10 am but we will meet at 9:30 to give ourselves some time to park and get in line at the front gate to pay. The trip down the river takes between 4-6 hours depending on the water level. Some walking may be required to get over the sandbars. As of today, Sept 14 the river was too high for tubing but would be open again by Sept 19. After tubing we will meet at the Brazos River Catfish Cafe for those who want to eat a meal together.
