Special thanks to Craig, for that enlightening presentation, and to all who attended - the joint was overflowing! It was great meeting all the new people who came. For example, Abby and Tommy trecked all the way out from N.J. and brought their musical talent as well. William joined Tommy on djembes and they accompanied Matt F. on homemade woodwinds (and Irish brogue!) and the spirited dancing. Abby treated us to some classical piano (with PJ and Alicia enjoying it from underneath the Steinway!). Other newbies included RawGaniQue chef extraordinaire Kristina and her ukelele playing friend Jasmin, as well as Jessica, Nancy, Ryan, Darren, Arthur and countless other colorful personalities too numerous to mention! Of course we had most of our core crowd who need no introduction, and it was great to see Elaine again. Everyone's positive energy made it a big success. PJ

I will see you there. And the sauerkraut making class. i bought a book on sauerkraut making last year at the Green Festival, I will bring it. It needs to get dirty and look likes its been used ! Meanwhile I bought a jar of sauerkraut last night at the natural market, almost $8 for a lb, I need to start making it myself! I just bought some big mason jars at the Container Store near Roosevelt Field. they were quite reasonable, about $6 each.

I don't know what "bliss wear" of the regular or paper variety is. I was planning on bringing paper plates, napkins and bowls. But this might not be the best because I'm coming from suffolk and I might be late. I wouldn't want everyone to be waiting to eat because there were no plates, etc.

I can't prepare any food and am coming just to learn. I don't know to much about raw vegan ism. So how about I just make a cash contribution or bring some wine. But I don't know how tell if wine is vegan, and I guess it's not raw either.

So someone give me some feedback.

Maybe you can bring some infused water with strawberries and lemon =)
And if you bring a wine, I'll have some with you.

Bliss wear is reusable plates, cups, forks and spoons, like most people use at home. As for food, it is summer, so many nice fruits and veggies are available. You could bring a fruit salad, a cucumber salad or a nice green salad. You can also google raw food recipes and a whole bunch of stuff will be displayed. Happy uncooking!
