A day devoted to creating and considering meaningful gifts for those we love.
Thursday: Dec. 8 10:00-4:00 pm with Ginny Shaddock, Soraya Massoumi and Denver Boskey
Tis the season of giving, and one of the most frustrating elements of this beautiful, heartfelt season, is wrestling with what we can and should give to others to show them our love, appreciation and acceptance. We want to give something special to those we care hoping we can come up with an idea that will be useful, meaningful, and/or memorable, but the more we shop and struggle to find a material item or helpful service that will feel significant, the more our gifts feel like another empty, dutiful purchase to meet expectation rather than serve as a show of our desire to share love, wisdom and thoughtfulness .
This retreat is designed to spend a day contemplating what makes a gift truly meaningful, and how we can put elements of heart and soul into those things we give others to make the gift more meaningful. We will create several gifts that can be given to others, and share ideas to finish later for holiday gift giving.
If you ever struggle with feelings that the holidays have become an act of obligation and spending stress, this retreat will remind you of what gift giving is all about, feeding your inspiration and creativity so that this year, the act of exchanging gifts with those you care about is more fun and definitely more meaningful.
Retreat Fee : $65.00 - includes a full day of instruction, materials, and inspiration. Refreshments provided.
