If you grew up in an hoarded environment, or you are dealing now with a hoarding parent, this group is for you.

This Meetup is for activities scheduled at The Refuge, a retreat and education center where adult children of hoarders, whether still living in a hoarding environment or not, can come to escape, relax, learn and recover—for a few hours, a few days, or a few months. During your visit to The Refuge, you will finally have the opportunity to openly discuss your feelings and experiences with people who can relate to you, if you choose.

Whether it's just to take a break, do some laundry and relax; take classes in skills you should have learned at home, but never did; or live for a time in a clean, safe, environment, all are welcome here.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  As we are building up our community of hoarding survivors, we will be opening classes to the general public.  These will be noted in the Meetup description as "(Public)".  Classes specifically for children of hoarders will be listed as "(Private-COH Only)".

We're 4 Children of Hoarders
