The evening is organized by the Finnish Somalia Network and the income is used for developmental projects in Somalia. At 19:00 the up and coming r'n'b-duo AK is performing! These girls are born and raised in helsinki but with roots in Africa. One way to get connected with the sector is to join our next meetup: “How to be a Social Entrepreneur: Make money and change the world”. The event will cover issues such as: What is Social Enterprise? What is your passion and what do you want to change in the world? The event takes place on Thursday 25 February, 2016, from16:00-18:00 at Haaga-Helia University Of Applied Sciences, Pasila Campus (Ratapihantie[masked] HELSINKI),Room 2203.   • Entrepreneurship for Refugees: Is there a solution?

    Dear member of Helsinki Social Entrepreneurship group! The refugee crisis is increasingly affecting the European states, including Finland. Aalto University School of Business has launched a course in Sustainable Entrepreneurship which seeks to invent entrepreneurial solutions for asylum seekers in Finland. The course is run in collaboration with Startup Refugees (http://startuprefugees.com/) who are actively collecting data on incoming asylum seekers and assesing entrepreneurial opportunities for them. If you would like to contribute to the research and express your own ideas on how the situation may be improved through the means of entrepreneurship, join the meetup - your contribution to the research will be very valuable. We will meet at 19.00 on Monday, November 16 to discuss ideas.

Goggles and kitchen utensils are NOT required, just YOUR brain-cells and ideas.
