Fitness Scavenger Hunt in Tuscany is a remote outdoor exercise opportunity for all ages. Activity stations take place in the private community of Tuscany and adjacent areas. By participating you are implying consent to work on your own and at your own discretion. The organizer will not be physically present nor will training guidance be provided. Come prepared to maintain six-feet of social distance and make sure to wear gloves if possible.
Daily activity stations will be unique offering a full-body workout for all levels. Use common sense with practical modifications as needed. Work at your own pace, repeat as many times as you need to get a good workout.

I am Debra Stefan, your MeetUp organizer, neighbor and absentee coach. I will provide you with easy to follow sequences without explanation or instruction. I'm a fitness professional with 40+ years of experience. I've lived in Tuscany since 2007. The League of American Bicyclists has named me 2020 Instructor of the Year. Any and all healthy residents of all ages residing in Tuscany. In the best interest of safety, minors should be accompanied by an adult.
What is this?
Fitness Scavenger Hunt includes a combination of agility and balance drills, fat-burning intervals, strength training, and trail running. No one is left behind unless you voluntarily drop out. Individual exercise modifications apply to all routines. No matter what your limitations are, you can get a good workout, maintain social distancing, and make progress that you wouldn't be able to achieve staying indoors. So …it’s something different every day, incorporating a variety of outdoor fitness. Of course, you are on the honor system.
Start on the Via Colmo Ridge trail just east of the playground and sport court overlooking the 17th hole on Chimera Golf Course. The adventure will lead itself from there. Bring water to drink and be ready to discover your next challenge. No two workouts are the same and locations vary within the general vicinity.
The Fitness Scavenger Hunt is not open to the public and will be set up at sunrise and taken down by 11:00. Outdoor fitness and biking require a dedicated effort and consistent attendance for the best results.
Exercise boosts the immune system. Fresh air, blue skies, and birds singing, defeat depression. Your metabolism will get a boost that serves you the rest of the day. The most energizing place is outdoors where you will experience a variety of strength and cardiovascular fitness. The last place you need to be is an indoor gym!
Use good judgment in exercising within your capability. These activities are mostly intuitive and there is no right or wrong way when you use common sense. Don't worry, you won't be powerlifting out here.
