• Comedy at the Barn (Welwyn)

    Barn Theatre

    £1.00

Hosted by the Barn’s very own standup Eamon Goodfellow (finalist in the 2019 New Act of the Year competition), the nights bring the finest of local and international comedy talent. Acts do 5-15 minutes of material with up to 12 taking part on any night, so if one comedian isn’t floating your boat then don’t panic: there’ll be another one along soon that you’ll like. Also, have you ever thought of giving stand-up a go? If you have and you’d like to appear at Comedy at the Barn, contact Eamon for a spot. Remember the comedy starts at 8pm and the bar is open from 7pm. The night operates on a PWYW (Pay What You Want) basis: at the end of the evening you pay what you think the show was worth+ £1 donatation towards the meetup admin fees would also be very welcome😊

  • Quartet by Company of Players

    The Little Theatre

Cecily, Reggie and Wilfred reside in a home for retired opera singers in Kent, England. Each year, on the tenth of October, there is a concert to celebrate Verdi's birthday. Jean, who used to be married to Reggie, arrives at the home and disrupts their equilibrium. She still acts like a diva and refuses to sing. But the show must go on in this funny and poignant play by the author of Another Time, The Dresser and Interpreters. I have bought a ticket for this. If anyone would like to join me let me know and I will make arrangements to meet you in the bar from 7.30. Play starts at 8pm
