What we're about
The layman's scripting language, Python is known to be notoriously unperformant. Is it though? Well, that depends on who's asking.
Here we will explore Python from a performance perspective. Going from basic good practices, profiling, bytecode debugging, asyncio and static typping, through alternative implementations, llvm compilers and even, god help us, C extensions.
Do you feel the need? The need for speed? Do you feel it but don't want to hate your job, your life and society in general (read "switch a language")?
Then let us explore Python's mechanics for fun, profit and beyond.
