[NOTE: SATURDAY HIKE]
Trail: Jordan Wine Tour
Hike Leader: Howard Gibson
Please check our schedule for updates: http://hphc.ca/Schedule.html. (http://hphc.ca/Schedule.html)
Directions and trip detail:
On this trip, we will hike out to Calamus Estate Winery. (http://www.calamuswines.com/) We will stop for lunch at Balls Falls, then head back.
There are some other wineries in the area worth a visit. I like Stoney Ridge Winery (http://www.stoneyridge.com/) on King Street, east of Jordan. I also checked out Di Profio Wines, (http://www.diprofiowines.ca/) south of Jordan, on 19th street.

Rating Hikes: http://hphc.ca/HikeRating2.html
As noted, we usually go for a refreshment after the hike. Sometimes we even stay for dinner. This is not compulsory, but it does add to the fun. There are many nice restaurants out in the countryside, it is a good opportunity to experience their fine fares. I would like to extend an invitation to all the hikers: whether you are a drivers or a passenger, when you sign up for the hike, please plan on joining us for some social afterwards. If you must rush back to Toronto, please make it known at carpool time, so that we can group the drivers and passengers together.
Our membership form is up on the internet (http://www.hphc.ca/Membership2013.pdf) You can print it off and either mail it in, or bring it to the hike.
Hiking is a dangerous activity; each participant agrees to assume his/her own risks. If you are new to hiking, please start with a Level 1 (http://hphc.ca/HikeRating2.html) hike. Hike leader's decision is final.
See you on the trail.
