What we're about

This is a forum to connect local chess lovers with each other in a welcoming multi-generational community of players at all levels and to establish a recurring time and place for unstructured drop-in play in a casual social setting. The group was founded to provide a local neighborhood chess venue east of the river, but all are welcome come and play.

The group meets on Mondays from 5 to 8 at Coffee Bene on Grand Ave. and Cleveland Ave. in Saint Paul (and on lichess during the COVID-19 social distancing period until further notice)

Please join us on the Highland Chess Enthusiasts Facebook group for the most up to date information:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/95286670153... (https://www.facebook.com/groups/952866701536303/)

Everyone is welcome to come play against other members of the Highland (Saint Paul) Chess Enthusiasts Coffee Bene group. Anyone with a (free) lichess account can play.

Details: Mondays, 5-8, no requirement to be there when the tournament starts. Games: Unrated - 15 minutes per player, with a 10-second increment added per move.
