Weir Canyon Loop Hike

Moderate 4-mile hike in north Orange County. There are a few steep hills to give our legs a workout. The views on this trails are an interesting mix of houses and hills. We will go at a slow-moderate pace. We should finish in about 1 1/2 hours.

3.5 to 4 miles (depending on who you believe)
300' to 500' elevation gain (depending on who you believe)

Bring water, hiking boots or trail shoes, good attitude.

Directions to trailhead: From the Riverside Freeway (91) in Anaheim Hills, exit on Weir Canyon Road. Head south 0.7 mile to Serrano Avenue. Turn right (west) and proceed 2 miles to Hidden Canyon Road - pay attention as this is a small street on the left (south). Turn left (south), stay on the left side, and follow it a half-mile to its end at Overlook Terrace and the signed trail head. Park along Hidden Canyon Road.

Notes:
- The trail head is next to a residential neighborhood. Please be considerate of the residents by keeping noise down, and park across the street from houses.
- There are no restrooms at the trail head.

Adriana and Belle: I didn't see you guys. Paul showed up and we started hiking at about 6:10. This is a really nice trail, and a good little workout. Thanks for the company Paul!

Kind of sobering to eat during dinnertime. Do you guys bring stuff to eat along the way?

We won't have a specific break to eat. But I'm sure we will take a couple of breaks along the way - you are welcome to bring snacks. I am not able to hang out afterward (have to get home), otherwise I would suggest going somewhere afterwards for dinner...
