Join the Laurentian Lakes Chapter as members hike through the Hubbel Pond Wildlife Management area from the Tamarac National Wildlife boundary to State Hwy 34. This section features fording (wading across) the Ottertail river. Bring wading sandles or old tennis shoes and dry socks for crossing. A road walk around the crossing is possible.
The MN State Highway 34 trailhead is 9.6 miles east of Detroit Lakes. We will meet on the south side of the highway.
Come prepared with water, sturdy shoes, and bug spray.
