What we're about

Love to hike, get out & about, and find fun with friends? Then, welcome, friend!!

We'll hike & camp 8around the front range, trek into the RMNP, and even venture out for far-flung locations on occasion. The hikes will range from easy & leisurely to more challenging & longer treks. But always fun and many times an adventure! Most hikes tend to wrap up at a nearby spot for eats & drinks.

There'll also be plenty of opportunities to find fun and socialize off the trail! No doubt hiking is our jam, but exploring and playing off the trail sure is a lot of fun too!

BASIC RULES:
Please sign-up as often as you want! I do mark no-shows as such, and after 3 no-shows or day-of drops, I will have to ban you from the group. This is common in Meetups and it is the least pleasant of my duties as group manager. Those wait-listed need a couple of days notice to get a hike into their schedule. Please be courteous to other hikers :).

I am not a guide. It is your responsibility to be prepared for all hikes. I am not responsible for any injury or other bad omen that may occur on the trail.

Taco Tuesday & HH at the Amphitheater Hike

Needs a location

For this hike, street tacos will officially be known as trail tacos!

We'll take the steep way up Green Mtn to get a little burner in then stop at the amphitheater for tacos, margs, charlando, risas y amistad!

🌮🍹SALUD!🍹🌮

Wouldn't hurt to have traction & poles if you use them. Still a good chance for some slippin' & slidin' up there.

Laughs, Trivia, & Prizes, Oh My!!

The Comedy Fort

So....how many useless random factoids do you have mixed into that grey matter of yours?? Now is your time to shine and maybe finally have your trivia hoarding pay off!!

The Comedy Fort in Fort Collins is hosting Trivia Nights on Sundays, and I think we really need to be there!! Start thinking of a clever & funny (duh, it is a comedy club after all) team name, because we all know that's what REALLY counts at any trivia night. (Said the woman who may be lacking in any substantial trivia contributions)

I'm thinking of a hike or bike ride before and dinner afterwards. Stay tuned for updates!!

Ok, here's the part when the people talk really fast on the radio ads..
While this is a free event, they normally only allow 1 table/reservation per person, but I talked them into 3 tables. That negotiation came down to me putting my credit card down for $10/person commitment. Any empty seats will cost me $10. To attend, you will need to pay me through Venmo or PayPal prior to RSVPing and securing a spot on the going list. I will refund you $10 when you arrive at the event. If you have to cancel at any time prior to the event, or if you no-show, you will not get your money back. I will help you find someone to take your spot, however I can't guarantee I will be able to do that.

Wonderful Wednesday Full Flower Super Moon Rise & Sunset From Sugarloaf Mtn

Sugarloaf Mountain Trail Head

This one is all about the views!!

I'm still pouting about missing the last 2 month's full moon rise, but this one is going to more than make up for it!!

May's Full Flower Moon is an honoring to springs onset of flowers compliments of April's showers.🌸🌸🌸

This one is going to be extra impressive! If conditions are right, we are going to be lucky enough to see the rise of 2021's closest & brightest supermoon!

This might be the shortest "hike" we've ever done or will ever do, but when you see the 360° sunset and moonrise views you'll let me off the hook. And a shorter hike means a more well stocked backpack.😉🍷

Be careful driving up Sugarloaf road. It's a steep and narrow dirt road with sharp switchbacks.

Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions[masked]
