Evening Hike at the Biltmore Estate
Details
Mid-week trip to the lovely Biltmore Estate in Asheville for a hike. The flowers are in full bloom and there are 22 miles of lovely trails.
I am planning a 6 mile moderate (3 miles per hour) hike. I am an annual passholder and can bring guests after 5:00 for free. No, you won't see the mansion or the formal gardens up close, but you will experience sunset on the incredible grounds designed by the same team who created Central Park.
Grounds close at dusk so we should be done by 7:30.
NOTE: Now through April 30, annual passes for unlimited estate visits are only $119 and kids 16 and under can join you for free. On weekends, a ticket can be as much as $70 for adults and $35 for youth, so basically one visit can pay for itself. Plus, you can bring your friends along for an evening hike for free. https://www.biltmore.com/visit/buy-tickets/annual-pass
You are welcome to visit the estate by yourself before the hike then meet us at the Biltmore Farmyard parking area at 5:00. Note that it can take a while to drive from the estate parking lot as the road is winding and traffic is slow.
