    The trails are open again and it will be great to get back on our regular Wednesday evening hikes. We will meet at the parking lot at Rockin S Bar n Grill at 5:55pm. Bring water and a bandana or towel for the sweat. If everyone is on time, we will leave at exactly 6:00pm. We will wait until 6:05pm for anyone late but no longer than that.     Lake Ray Roberts State Park (Johnson Branch Unit)

    Time for some camping & hiking as weather cools. Everyone should plan to make reservations at http://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/ray-Roberts-lake if want to camp out or plan to stay for potluck dinner. I’m booked for Unit 122 at Oak Point camping area (2 tents per site). Many sites with electric are booked. Bring firewood and visit website for park rules (Alcohol Prohibitive-solo Cup time). $7 day pass per Adult. Plan to camp, hike, relax and enjoy potluck on Saturday. Sunday is open for suggestions. Friday: Arrive around 4 pm to set camp and wait on others thinking of camping out both nights. Saturday: Meet at 8:30 am at Dorba Trail head to hike Dogwood Canyon 2.6 miles (2) and lunch, bring your own sack lunch. Potluck dinner at 6 pm at my camp site. Sunday: Open, relax and head home at noon. Feel free to IM me for questions. I’m sure I’ve missed a few items. 😁

    Woohoo! Trails are open again. You ready for the weekly Cardio hikes. If you haven’t joined us before, You should be a 6 or 7 on a scale of 1-10. We will cardio hike approximately 4.25 miles. Bring water and a bandana or towel to wipe the sweat. Our goal is to arrive at 8:25am to leave at exactly 8:30am. If you are running late, be sure to communicate that via the meetup app. We will not wait beyond 8:35 am. If you had rsvpd that you are going but decide that morning that you can’t make it, please have the courtesy to update your RSVP so we won’t be waiting for you.
