    Hey Janine

I'm not sure if you received my e-mail or not but I can meet you at the Trader Joe's in Bellevue. See link http://goo.gl/maps/uf01H

    Trader Joe's
    15400 Northeast 20th Street
    Bellevue, WA 98007

Does that work for you? If so, I just need to know what time you want me to be there.

Often times I'll extend the time frame on a hike so that we don't feel pressured in having to hurry back. To me, hiking is all about relaxation as well as exercise. It's just nice to set aside a day to enjoy the natural beauty around us. You can always turn back early if you need to be somewhere at a certain time.

Also, for those who have issues that need to be addressed to me, please just take a moment and email me directly rather than post them on the comment board.............thank you.

I am going, but concur with those that allowing too much time for this hike just to avoid possible traffic going into Seattle doesn't make sense. If some want to dawdle after the hike we can stop somewhere in Isssaquah.

I also prefer to return earlier. If someone wants to hang out in Issaquah, that's fine, but I need to return home asap after the hike. If that's not what the majority of the group wants, I may have to skip tomorrow. Is someone going to come back earlier tomorrow? I'd like to share a ride with that person.

I had not seen the itinerary until I signed up. 7+ hrs to do Snow Lake is too long for me. I'll look for the next one. have fun.

I'm afraid the change to a later return time doesn't fit in with my plans for later that evening - it was already a little tight! Have fun everyone, and I'll see you another time. I do very much appreciate the weekday hikes, as I work Saturdays.

Perfect timing...I'm going on a week long backpacking trip starting at the Snow Lake Trailhead. Does anyone have room for me, my K-9 and my 90lb backpack? If not, no worries...I'll hitch a ride on ride share. I'll be coming from Bellevue (Northup way).

Good question...Tanny is somewhere between 80 to 90 pounds. She's very friendly and is a retired K-9 (Search and Rescue). Last year, I left my car at the trailhead for a 9 day outing along the Pacific Crest Trail and some jackass smashed out my window. Since then, I don't feel comfortable leaving my car for days on end at any trailhead.

Cool. You & Doggie & big backpack have a 1-way ride from Bellevue directly to Snow Lake TH. Then I can linger as long as I like in the wilderness before driving back

Oh my favorite place on a warm summer day, I've swam there already once this summer, people remember to bring your swimsuits, the water is perfect right now!

Prefer to ride in a carpool. Have the pass for your dashboard! Would love to spend a longer lunch at this gorgeous lake, maybe wade to refresh my toes before the hike back.
