  • Caprock Canyon SP camp - April 26-29

    Caprock Canyons State Park

Hey! Another last minute event but this time it's a bit more involved and needing serious commitment. We have reserved a campsite at Caprock Canyon SP. It is from Friday April 26 noon check-in through Monday April 29 noon check-out. We will do some VERY arduous but beautiful hikes Saturday and Sunday. The campsite is PRIMITIVE. You will need to bring in all food and water and, of course, your camping gear. Because of the 350 mile distance from ATX, and to simplify logistics, we went small and only have room for 2 tents or 5 people - whatever comes first. Please contact Tim or Stella directly for additional details.

  • Humpday Hike and Tasty Margaritas

    1710 Camp Craft Rd

Afterwards we can head over to Vaqueros Cafe and Cantina for some food and drink! Total hiking distance is 3 miles and will take us about an hour. The long and steep Hill of Life trail averages 30% to 60% grade making for a fast and exciting hike down, and an excellent workout for hiking up. The terrain is loose and rocky so please wear appropriate shoes. The cafe is 5 minutes from the trailhead. *Guests pay their own food and drink
